A city located South South East of China. It has a land area of 1045 square kilometres (403 square miles).
It is divided into 3 main regions - Hong Kong Island and nearby islets, the mainland Kowloon Peninsula and Stonecutters Island, and the New Territories.
Hong Kong has recently returned to its Motherland on July 1 1997. And it is known now as the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China.
Hong Kong is famous for its longest escalator in the world with a world record holding of 225 Metres which is located in Ocean Park. As well as that, Hong Kong is also famous for its longest Suspension Bridge known as the Tsing Ma Bridge which has a length of 2.2 Kilometres.
