I'm burning, buzzing through my rooms
My pulse relates
My heart in all it's pace quickens
I feel your heat
Can I repeat the golden days
Can I replay them over and over
Can I resign myself to you?
Your bleeding heart, your golden tomb?
I feel the rush, in all it's time
I feel the days, so quick gone by
I feel you muse, I'm glad you're here
To help my heart pour out it's fears
I'm still too drunk to type now, know
I'm rushing through your endless vows
I'm writing now what you relate
My endless heart, your tireless fate
I see the decades run so fast
Like sped up movies, old and damp
Celluloid lost in hot, scorched rooms
Dying there in the blackness gloom
I'm black and white
I'm red and blue
And retribute, and tiresome hue
I'm silent queen, I live in rooms
Of tinted browns, and red-green ruse
You leave me here, in time's slow fade
I'm hollywood mansions, torn and greyed
I'm sitting here, beside the night
I know I should be out there soon
And so I'll go, with just one word
And so I am, hope I'll be heard
In this short lifetime, walking true
Move on again, this lifetime's blues.
