Though the flame did flicker, and sometimes went low, I never thought I'd see the day when I had to let go. >From the day he walked in to the day he walked out, I always understood him and what we were about. Whatever happened to the promises he made? Did he just not care or did he ask them to fade? To fade like my dreams of being his wife, Or to fade like our flame, the love of my life. The flicker has died, our flame is now gone. And I no longer have to wonder how I will go on. For I know in my heart that if it is true, I don't have to wonder, that things will come through.
