The Origin of Mr. Monster

"The 1940's Mr. Monster did not have an origins background, I
gave him a whole history that never existed.  I wanted to go back
and really do an in-depth thing.  I showed Mr. Monster's mother
and father before they met.  I wanted to show how a person's
parents can influence who they become, and you can see bits and
 pieces of who Mr. Monster is, where he came from.  But then I 
went back even further and showed generations upon generations of
Mr. Monsters, because it's a line that was passed down from
father to son thousands of years.  I wrote the entire 200 page
"Origins" story myself as an issue black and white series".
