Catherine has only been taking martial arts since 1995, and admits to faking the thirty-second martial arts routine required during the Power Rangers auditions. She is the youngest in her family which made it harder for her to leave her family. After finally getting a VISA after some difficulties, Catherine is now in the US and is happily pursuing her dreams.
Catherine loves to read science fiction and mystery novels during her spare time. However, she hardly got a break during Power Rangers. Her work day started at 5:30 and went on for 12-14 hours every day.
She got along great with her other castmates on Power Rangers especially Nakia Burrise who played yellow ranger Tanya Sloan. She and Nakia loved to play pranks on the guy rangers and also the other way around. Her dressing room couch once ended up in the command center! She says that one of the nice thing about being a Power Ranger was that she was able to teach young children about teamwork, self-esteem and being positive. She also found it exciting, but funny when she saw a Kat action figure.
Catherine has also had other US roles such as Ginger, a snobby cheerleader in the teen's show, Sweet Valley High. Catherine left Power Rangers in the Fall 1997 season to pursue other acting opportunities. She is now concentrating on theater work and recently appeared in a theatric production of Hamlet.
Catherine recently lent her voice to a game for Playstation and is working on a film called "The Cell" with Jennifer Lopez.
