Katja's second child, Ellie (here with big brother Blake), born in late January 04, further interferes with her poetry and personal webpage maintenance, but otherwise facilitates her life goals.
Sorry folks.... Although the Spring Street apartment switched to a bimonthly "new" format a few years ago due to the rigors of parenthood and Katja's attempts to pretend like she is a doctor/researcher....she has some trouble even keeping up with that. She'll continue to do the best she can.
Katja's chapbook First Woman celebrates its six-year (!) webpublishing birthday in February 2008 at The 2river View . The chapbook was kindly reviewed in April, 2004 by W.C. Purdy on the Poetry Superhighway Forum . Other work of hers exists at the 2river View in semi-permanent form in the Winter 2000, Winter 1999 and Spring 1999 issues (check the archive) of this wonderful and beguiling web journal.
The tres cool (and cold preventing...a little chemistry humor there) webzine Zn ("zine n") was kind enough to link to me on its cyberpoet page.
Back in April, 1999, Katja was a Leftgrll of the month. Katja is "In the Company of Rogues (check the Rogue Scholars archive).
When will the page of my "intense interests" be up? Who knows, but like the "King in Yellow" it exists even in nonexistence, because it includes
...interrobang can you believe...handspinning dog hair....
...interrobang the feminist sites Diotima and The Lilith Shrine (those who have followed me from the old webpage will recognize this as "grrlbuzness"),
...interrobang (What's an interrobang, Katja??!!)(It's just that...a ?! combination) Slow Wave, an online cartoon based on dreams
...interrobang various David Lynch and Apology Line pages including Mark Thomas' site, the only link that warranted being included in my bookmarks under "Art" for many months.
dogpile, invaluable search engine and not just because I am a canine promoter

Two realaudio poems with graphic performance 1) 2) are available at this site, as well as a silent poetry reading, mentioned below. Other .wav format poetry at this site can be found through the poetry intro page. If you've exhausted all the options for poetry performance at this site and still want to hear more, you can now go here.
On July 3rd, 1998, I stole a moment on live NYC videocam at Apuzzo Video Productions, which I called a silent poetry reading , (realplayer required to view!). I "read" the poem "Untitled." I have been, in my desultory fashion, hoping to perform again. As my mother used to say when she meant "no"....we'll see.
I continue to repeat empty promises regarding 19th century images , fiction and another essay.
The essay I wrote a long while ago about women in medicine is still up.
As always, Realaudio...and Katja...rule.
