Chet Cahill, Musician, Sound Man. Currently working for C-SPAN. Penelope Campbell Lapsed actress, dedicated dilettante, amateur astrologer, about whom it has been said, "if bitchery were an art form, she would have to change her name to Picasso." Most recent works have been images foisted on unsuspecting friends, including the highly-acclaimed Merry Christmas from Penny and Buddy Campbell holiday card series where the artist's cat, Buddy dons all manner of gay apparel. It is believed, at least by Ms. Campbell, that these cards have served as the inspiration for William Wegman's entire career. She is part of the "Great Move-out of 1999." Cesar Cal, Guitarist.
Pilar Cal Meyer, Visual artist, born and reared in Mexico City, she received a scholarship to study at the Taller des Artes Plasticas del INBA. She has entered her work in shows from Boston to Mexico. Most recently she participated in a group show at the Gallery at the Piano Factory entitled "Ah, My Friends, It is My Heart!" El Eterno Feminino. She currently works as a Spanish interpreter for the Massachusetts judiciary. She also owns and operates a sterling silver and Mexican craft business. She has a son, Cesar and a daughter, Erica.
Robin Chandler, A recent recipient of a Fulbright Scholar Award, Ms Chandler taught Sociology and Art History at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa (a university which rejected racism and racial segregation in its student body, staff and administration even during apartheid). Her collages have been shown in South Africa, Gabon and Za‹re through the Art in Embassies Program of the U.S. State Department. Since 1989, she has been a lecturer and professor at Northeastern University where she received a doctoral degree.
Roberto Chao, Mr Chao grew up in Uruguay, and received advanced degrees in fine arts from universities in Puerto Rico and Mexico. He believes "Community Art that truly reflects community ideas and values, empowers its creators and educates its viewers ... [such] art... takes back the streets [returning them] to the people of the neighborhood." Collaborative mural projects embodying this belief can be seen throughout Boston, notably at the Harriet Tubman House, the Boston Center for the Arts, the Courtyard at The Piano Factory, and the Rafael Hernandez Bilingual School in Roxbury. He and his wife, Stella Acelas are rearing 2 boys, Camilo and Pablo.
Mireille Clapp, Sculptor, received her doctorate from MIT and was appointed Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst. She recently made acareer shift to devote herself wholly to her sculpture. her work includes indoor and outdoor freestanding pieces as well as wall sculpture. She has had shows at UMass, and the Piano Factory, and her work is in private collections throughout the United States, Canada, China, France and Italy.
Harriet Casdin-Silver, Holographer. She studied at the Center for Advanced Visual Studies at MIT. The hologram, essentially an extremely dense sandwich of images captured via reflected laser light, is alternately dimly visible and pushing forward into 3-dimensional space. Ms Casdin-Silver's life-size images of fragmented human forms record her efforts to 'dig out of those bodies a taste of human passion and angst, a special heady savor that cannot be depicted by any other medium.' She is represented by Gallery NAGA. She has shown her work worldwide (Japan, Finland, Israel, Brazil, Germany, United Kingdom, Austria, Sweden, Spain, you name it). She has been Artist-in-Residence and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Ghent (Belgium), Royal College of Art (London), Ukrainian Institute of Physics, Academy of Sciences (Ukraine), The Rockefeller Foundation Arts Program, to name a few. Her most recent group show, the celebrated techno.seduction was at the Cooper Union College Art Association in New York City.

Timmy Collins, Artist, multi-media. Mr Collins is particularly admired for his witty 3-dimensional collages and his wittier caricatures. He is proprietor, with Constance Smith of Smith & Collins Lettering.

Anne-Marie Cunniff, A fife player with the Middlesex County Militia, she often performed in historical reproductions such as the reenactment of the Boston Tea Party in Boston Harbor. She is also a Special Needs teacher and is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). |
