Clara Ramona, Lead dancer, teacher and co-choreographer for the RamĒn de los Reyes Spanish Dance Theatre and Academy, and artistic director of the Ballet Espanol de Clara Ramona based in Madrid, Spain, Ms Ramona is a native of the Philippines. Her performances have received rave reviews from critics in New York, Texas, Spain, Germany ... wherever she dances. Dance Magazine calls her a "world class flamenco artist." While she and her husband RamĒn lived at the Piano Factory, they became the parents of Isaac and Lothar. You can E-mail her at spanishdancetheatre@yahoo.com.

Hakim Raquib, Photographer. Presently working for UrbanArts, Inc. with at-risk teens.

Charles E. Reade, Mr Reade, a self-employed carpenter, apprenticed with the Concord Lumber Company, The Jeffrey Adams Construction Company of Concord, and John Tom, Development (John Tom was another Piano Factory artisan). He was also a poet, and involved with dance and music. He died from complications of AIDS. He was 34 years old.

Stanley Rowin, Photographer. Mr. Rowin started out as an engineer, turned businessman, then gave it all up in 1980 when he moved into the Piano Factory to become a photographer. He currently takes pictures for about 20 national magazines and countless New England companies. He has a portfolio of his work, with rotating images of several PCG residents and staff on his website at stanstudio.com.

Bernice Robinson, Visual Artist.

Jon Rosbrook, Long-time resident Jon Rosbrook organized The Piano Factory Artists Ball, a fundraiser for the Tenants Association (PCGTA). He worked for 15 years as a sound engineer and/or tour manager for many internationally-known acts including Kris Kristofferson, Meat Loaf, Todd Rundgren, Ian Hunter, and Metallica. Since 1985 he has been Production Manager for the Don Law Company, producing hundreds of concerts at New England venues including Great Woods, Harborlights, Foxboro Stadium, the Orpheum Theatre, the Wang Center, Symphony Hall, Tanglewood, Berklee Performance Center, the Fleet Center, the Worcester Centrum, and the Portland and Providence Civic Centers. Mr Rosbrook is also currently design and production consultant to major entertainment companies including Hard Rock Cafe, and House of Blues. Most recently, he organized one of the Inaugural Balls (New England) for President & Mrs Bill Clinton.

Vince Ricci, Sculptor.

Scott Richards, One of its earliest residents, Mr Richards lived at The Piano Factory from 1974 to 1984. He now lives in Los Angeles where he is the head sound engineer at the Universal Amphitheater. His concert clients include Luther Vandross, David Lee Roth, Kris Kristofferson, Dionne Warwick, and Willy Nelson.

Robert Rindler, A visual artist and educator, Mr Rindler was Dean of Students at Rhode Island School of Design when he lived at The Piano Factory. With his partner, James Connors, he currently lives in New York City where he serves as Dean of the School of Art at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.

Gregorio Riviera, Painter, Virtual Reality pioneer. While at MIT, he developed the lens system for head-mounted virtual reality displays. He and his wife are currently living in Mexico.

Dorothea Robinson, Singer.

Lenjes Robinson, Percussionist. With his wife Dorothea, a singer, and their baby daughter, moved to her home in Germany.

Catherine Roche, Artist. She lived and worked at the Piano Factory, and supported herself as a Security Guard there. A graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, she has shown her work extensively in new England, Chicago, Atlanta, and the Virgin Islands. She is a founding member of the St Croix Artists Cooperative, and the Gallery at the Pentheny, which has been described as "the most successful gallery in the Caribe." She currently resides in St. Croix, Virgin Islands.

Daniel Raitt, A fine arts and commercial photographer, Mr Raitt also restores antiques. Like many artists, he supplements his income with hard-core housecleaning to a devoted clientele. He is part of the "Great Move-out of 1999."

Davis Robinson, Mr Robinson is founder and artistic director of the Beau Jest Moving Theatre which develops original, movement-based work for both theatre and school programs. They have performed at the Boston Arts Festival, First Night, the C. Walsh Theatre, the Emerson Majestic, the Lyric Stage, Boston Center for the Arts, the Peabody House, the North Shore Music Theatre, and the Great Woods Educational Forum. They have had 3 off-Broadway runs and appearances at Lincoln Center, Touchstone Theatre, the Hopkins Center, and the International Festival of Movement Theatre. Their production of Ubu Roi was invited to perform at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. They received Best of the Year by Boston area papers in 1985, 1987, 1989 and 1994; and the Boston Theatre Critics Circle Award for Best Production in 1995. Mr Robinson also serves on the faculty of Emerson College's Department of Performing Arts. He is part of the "Great Move-out of 1999."
