Costume Construction
This was a patterning and draping independent study for an early 19th century man's suit. I draped, patterned, and built the dresscoat, waistcoat, and breeches.
I draped, patterned, and assisted the build of both these costumes for Lady Bracknell for the S.I.U.C. Fall 2000 performance of the "The Importance of Being Earnest."
I designed, draped, and built this dress for a premier performance (Summer '99) of "The Ladies from Fall River" by Robin Roberts based on the trials of Lizzie Borden.
I designed and draped the dress and tabard for the queen in a children's opera performance of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" (Fall '99, Spring '00).
I draped and built this wedding dress for Adelaide in the Northern Illinois University production of Guys and Dolls (Spring '02).
