These figure studies in ink wash were done as part of a course in life drawing which I took at John A Logan College.
I chose them over many other, more detailed works for displaying on my Webpage because of the uncertainty about the legal issues of displaying student works done from live models. With ink wash, the loose and rather abstract approach does not reveal identifying details of the model and thus effectively anonymizes the figure.
If you are interested in how I handle detailed figurative work, take a look at my Historic Portrait Gallery, which contains portraits of various historical personages.
I am currently accepting commissions for artwork. If your interested in having me do something, please contact me with information on what you want.
