Merfolk

From the time I was very small, I was fascinated with merfolk. I have a dim memory of a time when, not yet old enough to go to school, I told an artistically-inclined cousin a lengthy story about a mermaid. She drew me a picture of the mermaid sitting on a rock, her long hair flowing around her. I still have that drawing, carefully preserved in a scrapbook.

Since then, I have drawn and painted a number of my own works dealing with merfolk and the sea.
