This ink-wash drawing was done for an introductory drawing course at John A. Logan College. There was something about the pair of fancy shoes hanging together that made me think of Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz and the magical ruby slippers. Because of that, I entitled the piece, "Ruby Slippers (there's no place like home)"
The following semester I showed it at the Illinois Community College Juried Art exhibition. I received this certificate of participation for it:
