Artist's statement:
Patte enjoys painting a variety of subjects, but her favourites are landscapes, old buildings and animals in their environment, with animals being especially important. She feels that making them the subject of a painting adds value to their existance, and helps to extend their short lives in a way.
She prefers to work with acrylics because they dry quickly, are permanent, versatile, durable, and can be easily cleaned up with water.
