02-08-04/10.02 - Be-lah. Look at all the updates (shouldn't take long). Look at all the snow. Beauty. Ah, well, I guess that's what 4-wheel drive is for, yes? Anyway, I do have everything up and working at the moment, although FFXI seems to have done some interesting things with my sound card. So, with any ambition, I may actually get some of the *good* stuff scanned in. And I may get those damned cicadas out of my furnace, because WHAT THE HELL IS MAKING THAT NOISE?? 'S bloody irritating, but the furnace guy should be here to look at it tomorrow. Or, at least, he better be. I'm fairly certain it shouldn't be doing that. 11-12-03/03.36 - Funny story, I think you'll like this one... Henry David Thoreau was thrown into jail for civil disobedience. His friend Ralph Waldo Emerson came to visit him. Emerson walked up to the bars, looked in, and shook his head. "Henry, Henry, Henry," he said. "What are you doing in there?" Thoreau walked up to the bars and looked at his friend and shook his head. "Ralph, Ralph, Ralph... The question is what are *you* doing out *there*?" Aside from that luverly (and blatantly stolen) anecdote, there may be actual updates around here at some point. Maybe. 05-26-03/22.47 - Well my computer should be back up in a few days... And there will be chibi totoros. Oh, yes. There *will* be chibi totoros... 05-17-03/22.14 - More info on those 2 latest pics. One is just another oekaki I did on Jhai's board. The other is another fish (sensing a theme?) It's watercolor with some details highlighted with either a gold or pearl glaze. The scan didn't pick up the sparklies so well, but you can tell where they're supposed to be. Obviously, I didn't all the scans done that I said I would because I was busy with moving things and exploring the wonderful world of sleep deprivation. 05-14-03/00.26 - Two new pictures. More fitchie. 05-13-03/20.54 - On a completely related note (this being the links pages), there will eventually be linking banners for those sites as have them available. If for no other reason than that somebody made them for a reason and it adds some seeming content to the pages. There will be new pictures at some point. I know not when for I needs must move my possessions awayst from their current locale. It's time consuming, tis, tis. 05-12-03/20.37 - Whoo! I'm a linking machine! The mythology, etc links page is small because most of my links for that page are at a different location. But it's up, and so is the webcomics links page. The Cthulhu/Lovecraft page is gonna have to wait... Because again, my links are in another place. *waves hand* These are not the Elder Gods you are looking for... Yeah, and by the way, whoever's brilliant idea it was to make my car break, I hope restauraunts screw up your orders consistently for a week. 05-11-03/19.54 - K, the art links and the friends' links pages are up. Woo. Go me. 05-11-03/14.26 - It also occurs to me that I should put the updates in *ascending* order so people aren't deterred or confused by the necessity of scrolling down to find recent updates. 05-11-03/14.18 - Blah... Going to take the cat to Mom and Dad's tonight so they can take care of him for the couple of months I won't be able to this summer. Poor baby. So, yeah, working on the links pages. Also digging out any pictures I wanna scan in before I put my scanner and computer in storage for the next couple of weeks. Grr... Reminds me, tonight I need to see if Mom can loan me about 50$ to pay for the storage up front, since I don't get paid until Thursday. It'll be the first full paycheck I've had in a while. Stupid getting sick. 05-10-03/23.59 - Added two new pictures to the pics page.. They're done with brushes and inks. The smaller one is a squiggle I did before the larger one to get a feel for the brushes. They're also a bit blurred becasue the paper warped when it dried and the scanner didn't like that too much. I'm working on the links pages... Maybe I'll get them up soon. Hmm... Maybe I'll figure out how to meld a journal thingy into this so the updates at least look prettier...
