Merry Christmas From The Stapfs

Daniel, Christy, Jude & Paul
Please scroll down to see what we have been doing this year.

Jude
Jude is just about to turn four - and acts like it to. He started preschool this fall at Hamilton Community Preschool. He enjoys going to "big boy" school and playing with Ms. Colleen and his friends. Jude's favorite thing to do right now is play on the computer. He's also a big fan of Thomas the Tank Engine. Jude is very independent and likes to do things all by himself.

Paul
Paul just celebrated his first birthday on December 15th. He's walking and starting to try to talk. He says Da Da, Ma Ma, Du (for Jude), & Ki (for cat). He's very easy going and goes with the flow. He's so happy that he's finally big enough to rough-house with his Daddy and big brother.

Daniel & Christy
Daniel is in his 8th year working at Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville. He's been the Project Coordinator for the General Services Department for the past 2 years. He's also working part-time at Lifeway Bookstore. Dan went to Canada again this past summer to fish for a week with my dad and uncle. I can't wait until the boys are old enough to go too! He enjoys playing softball in his free time but had to sit out this last season after breaking his thumb sliding into home plate.

I am still home with the boys. There's never a dull moment in our house. There is always some flurry of activity and ongoing noise. I wouldn't give it up for the world! I have to admit it has been nice having 3 mornings a week to myself while Jude is at school and Paul naps. I continue to work from home for Johns Hopkins on the occasion they need me. I'm currently studying to become a Medical Transcriptionist and hope that it's a profession I can continue in after the boys start school. When I do get some free time, I try to squeeze in scrapbooking and stamping.

Daniel and I are active in our church, Perry Hall Presbyterian, where we both serve as Elders - Daniel as the chair of the Buildings Team and I as the chair of the Missions Team. Dan also plays the keyboard at our worship service and I teach in the 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School class. Our church has been a great blessing to our entire family, and we are thankful to have such a wonderful church family.

Eli
Eli spends most of his days trying to survive in a house with two rambunctious little boys. He's usually hiding in our basement or asleep on our bed.

We hope that you and your family have a blessed Christmas season and a Happy New Year.
