Technomania Circus started performing as a troupe here in San Diego in 1999, and this effort culminated in our big St. Cecilias/Sledehammer Theatre show in 2001. From Dec 2001 through 2005 Technomania Circus and its owner/director Dr Techno were based in the bay area from Oakland to San Francisco.
Upon returning to hometown San Diego in May of 2005 to The Center for Amusing Arts, we have had incredible steady progress and appreciate yours and all patronage down here to our unusual site. We do not plan to move anywhere soon so watch our website, or the front of our porch, where we will advertise future shows on approximately a monthly basis. We are the dedicated performers willing to go that extra mile for that laugh, those giggles, and them guffaws. Ask our fans. We are willing and available for private parties, strange events, wedding receptions, nightclub gigs, fashion shows, and of course circus and blacklight performance acts, our specialty.
We have many repeat and vocal fans. We do no paid advertising yet all of our recent shows have been standing room only by about showtime. There is nothing else like us, so keep us alive by supporting us in any way you can.
