Victoria Kapralova
Born in Volgograd she studied at the Volgograd Music School
and the Volgograd Conservatory. Mrs. Kapralova was member of the
Volgograd Symphony Orchestra with which she already
performed as a soloist. She had manifold activity as a chamber
music performer with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra.

Reda El-Wakil Reda El-Wakil
He has been Bass-Baritone of the Cairo Opera Company since
the opening of the new Cairo Opera House. He is the winner
of several competitions among which are Placido Domingo’s
Competiton in Paris in 1994 in which he won the 1st prize as
well as the 1st prize and the "Public Prize" at the
"International Competition" in Toulouse. Since 1987 he is
performing regularly throughout Europe especially in France.

Gerd Reinke Gerd Reinke
Gerd Reinke started his career as double bass soloist in 1975.
Playing with the Orchestra of the Swedish Broadcasting, the
Symphony Orchestra San Francisco and numerous orchestras
in Germany he received international reputation. He performed
at main European radio and television stations. Recordings
of LP’s and CD’s also show his international significance.
Famous contemporary composers like H.Genzmer,
R. Kelterborn, H.W. Henze and H. Kihara dedicated
compositions for double bass to him.

Huseyin Sermet
Huseyin Sermet is a well-known turkish pianist. He performs
regularly in all important French concert halls. His career led
him to international festivals and competitions all over the
world. Due to his experience and his talent he is regularly
invited as a jury member to all main piano competitions
and enjoys the reputation as a virtuoso of his instrument.

Abdel-Hamid El-Shweikh
El Shweikh began his violin studies at the age of five
with his father. He has given several recitals in Egypt
and Switzerland and played as a soloist with the
Cairo Symphony Orchestra. He is active in chamber
music performances and some of his concerts were
recorded for radio and TV.

Enrique Batiz Enrique Batiz
The musical talent of Maestro Enrique Batiz got
obvious when he gave his first piano performance
at the age of five. Nowadays he is probably one
of the most important Latin American musicians.
Conducting many orchestras he recorded several
CDs. Some of these CDs were awarded international
prizes. His reputation is not only based on his talent
as conductor but also on his merits about music in
Latin America. He is the founder of the Mexico
Symphony Orchestra whose Principal Conductor
he remained. His repertoire covers classic, romantic
and contemporary works.
