Dear friends,  the 41st season of the Cairo Symphony Orchestra - is giving more  profile to the expansion of the activity of the orchestra already  started two years ago. This expansion is transforming the  orchestra from a mere symphony orchestra giving weekly regular  concerts into a philharmonic organization offering - beside  symphonic concerts - chamber orchestra concerts, chamber music  concerts and recitals. All these activities are realized by the  members of the orchestra exclusively.   In addition to its concerts at its residence at the Cairo Opera House regular sym -  phony and chamber music concerts are planned at the Halls of the Alexandria  International Conference Centre.  For our symphonic and chamber orchestra concerts we have invited many excellent  performers to offer you unforgettable musical experience of high quality. Some of  these names appear on our program for the first time and others are becoming  regular guests.

National tours

	The newly developed tradition of the Orchestra to tour the main cities in Egypt  offering the inhabitants of these cities the opportunity to enjoy the masterpieces  of classical music has been expanded to cover more places.
International Tours
	The every two years European tour of the Orchestra will cover this year concerts in  Germany, Austria and France. As usually in November of every year we devote some  of our activities to school children who represent the future generation of the friends  of the orchestra.
