Working with oil is my favorite mode of expression. In addition to oils, I use a variety of methods including pencils, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, and other miscellaneous techniques. I love painting on location using my imagination and technical skill.
I have painted and exhibited my work for many years. My formal training in art has given me a broad foundation in design and composition.
I am a member of the Fine Arts Institute of Redlands, CA , High Desert Cultural Arts Foundation, and a member of the World Art Association.

This is one of my favorite pieces. I started with a cadmium yellow base, glazing over each hue using a mixure of thin linseed oil, damar, liquin,& pigment. As the layers dried, I continued the glazing until the painting was finished. |

This rose captured my imagination. So beautiful and yet forboding, as if it were speaking to me. A dominating piece worked in layers of glazes.
