Sruti Nadimpalli is a classically trained violinist who would rather play rock and roll. When she is not playing music, Sruti can be found on the JHU campus playing with Buckley (her corgi-sheltie mutt), heading the JHU Women's Literary Magazine, volunteering with AIDS patients, or attempting to study. Sruti's greatest passion, however, is music. She got her first taste of the stage at age 5, and recently played violin with Guster in Charlottesville VA. Now, with her good friends (and three of the most talented musicians she knows) in Mycroft Holmes, Sruti is looking forward to the year 2001 and everything it holds. Sruti would like to convey her appreciation to her brother Vamsi for understanding the importance and beauty of music, her parents for their patience, Drew, Greg, Ben, Colin and Buckley, Kiran, Jodi, Caroline, Josh L./Celeste/Munns, Molly (and Bandit), Kobie, Kevin. |
