On Cocooning and Expressing Higher Dimensional Awareness

Samantha: Good morning, Ibiru. As you know, Gordon and I were talking this morning about why we are here, in the 3D+1 reality, and what it is we are supposed to be doing. It seemed to me that you wanted to talk, so here I am. Can you shed any light on this?

Ibiru:

Good morning. Yes, I believe I can. I would like to look at the first issue, that being why you are here. You are here, in 3D+1, because you chose to be. Simple, but not all of it. The real "Why?" is this: Each created thing or being is an expression, a manifestation of Core Self, which is, in turn, a manifestation of what you would think of as First Cause. Each Core Self is in the process of becoming a First Cause itself. So what does that have to do with you? Well, you are an aspect of your Core Self. Why you came to be was because certain qualities, in combination, had to be expressed. You are that expression, as is everyone and everything.

Now, to what you are "supposed" to be doing while here. You are here in order to perfect YOUR particular manifestation. Not your culture's ideals, your parent's dreams, or your children's expectations. Only by perfecting the expression of YOU can you fulfill your purpose.

Samantha: Ok. In the title you gave me for this paper, you mention cocooning and expressing higher dimensional awareness. Can you explain these?

Ibiru:

Cocooning is the process each being goes through when it is undergoing metamorphosis. This is a natural process that is forbidden in many of your societies because of the political and economic ramifications. When a being is moved to cocoon she focuses on internal growth, new awareness, experimenting with new ways of doing things. She will often have more intense dreams and may find herself drifting away from old concerns and old friends. Imagine what would happen to corporate time if people allowed themselves to grow!

Each time a person emerges from a cocoon, she brings new awareness into 3D+1 life. This changes the world, as it is known.

Expressing higher dimensional awareness is what it is all about. Samantha, the human nervous system was designed to be able to express higher dimensions WHILE ALIVE. Most people only experience these dimensions, fully, after they have died. The idea that there is a separation between the dimensions is a cultural construct and has no real basis in fact.

Samantha: Then why do we not seem to be aware, most of the time, on these higher dimensions?

Ibiru:

Because the world is such an enticing place. You laugh, but I am not kidding. Consider how easily people can be lead to believe that the only things that are real are those things that they can touch with their hands or in some other way physically experience. 3D+1 is very compelling and convincing. That is one of the reasons why some have the idea, incorrectly, that one has to die to the world in order to be born in the spirit. The whole point of it all is to learn to express the higher dimensional realities while IN the world.

3D+1 is your physical focal point. It is the reality in which you create things with mass and weight. It is neither more nor less important and valid than any other dimensional reality. The goal is to be able to express and experience as many dimensions as possible while you are still physically manifest. THAT is the full expression of Self that is the overall reason for you being here in the first place.

Samantha: I understand, I think, but how do we do that?

Ibiru:

You already are, in a limited way. You are allowing me to speak, and I live in a different dimensional reality. But there is much more. For one, there is not a single aspect of your being that is not required in order to be able to fulfill your purpose. Intellect is needed for learning and thinking. Many make the mistake of believing that the thinking mind is the "problem." Ego is needed for focus and direction and a sense of self. Too many think that it needs to be destroyed in order for the individual to cease being and the Cosmic All to take over. Ego needs to be in balance and not in control. It is harder to balance than it is to waste time and focus trying to destroy an aspect of self in the name of whatever god you worship, at least in the short run. Emotion is needed in order to know that one is connected, one has shared roots with others. It is also a rich, very effective way of knowing the aspects of being that run deeper than words. Physicality is needed in order to give form to the creative impulse and to build a world that can nurture growth.

Without the balance of all of these things, the higher dimensions remain, seemingly, distant. The world is not the distraction, the body is not the evil, the heart is not a fool and the mind and ego are not the enemies.

Your present cocooning is happening so that you can finally bring all of these aspects of yourself into balance and expand into the higher dimensions, while bringing them very much to earth. This is why you are typing this book; meditating daily, learning higher mathematics and physics, exploring your art and doing the other things you need to do. The same is true for Gordon. It is the failing of your society, and not of yourselves, that the financial burden is so great. In a sane culture this process would be honored and the community would support the individuals going through it, knowing that they will bring back gifts of awareness and spirit to the people.

Samantha: Well put, I think. Now to another, related, concern. In general, what is it that people can do, practically, to bring higher dimensional awareness into their lives?

Ibiru:

The first step is to stop believing in the cultural and religious "reasons" that are given to keep you in check. And you do this by re-experiencing yourselves without these influences. Take a vacation for a week, alone and away from the normal routines of daily life. Get away from television, radio, newspapers, work, books, and just be with yourself. If you cannot physically get away, stay home and do the same thing. Keep a notebook with you or a computer if you are more comfortable typing, and record your thoughts and feelings. Set up an internal dialogue by assuming that you can speak with a higher dimensional aspect of yourself. Listen carefully to what you tell yourself. In other words, go into a cocoon. The more often you do this, and the more you participate, every day, in an ongoing dialogue with yourself, the more you will see through the cultural shrouds that have covered your heart and your spirit. Be prepared, however, to also uncover aspects of yourself that you may not be comfortable with. Accept it all.

Once you can no longer believe in the "reasons" you will no longer be a "reasonable" person. This is very important. Consider carefully what is required of you to be considered a "reasonable," "normal, " "rational" person. And then consider whether or not the price you are paying to be so is too high.

Now that you are not a "reasonable" person you are free to explore thoughts, creative impulses and possibilities that you never could before. Including the idea that all is not as it appears to be.

Samantha: Yeah, but once you begin going down that path it is VERY hard to stop questioning.

Ibiru:

Precisely my point. Everything you believe about yourself has to be questioned. So much is layered on by culture, family and daily life that it becomes very easy to believe what you are told. And what you are told does not often encourage you to be truly, deeply free. The pictures of the world that people hold are just that - pictures. The same is true for the pictures you hold of yourselves. Bringing higher dimensional awareness into daily life does not require that you give up all the pictures, only that you realize that they ARE pictures. And many of them you will give up because they are far too small to hold you. Each aspect of yourself is also a picture. Your ego is a picture of self awareness. The accuracy of the picture depends on the state of balance between the ego and other aspects of yourself. The more accurate the pictures, the more success in all things you will experience.

The questioning of your beliefs about yourself is actually usually led by emotion. Something "feels" wrong. Your gut instincts tell you something is right. Joy overwhelms you when you consider certain acts, while sorrow or just a strongly felt "wrongness" will arise when you consider others. These are the clues you have to deeper and higher awareness. Too often those feelings are ignored in order to be dutiful or simply out of a learned distrust of them. Young men are encouraged to put aside their natural instinct for life so that they may obey orders to kill and die. Young women are encouraged to put aside their natural wildness so that they may focus on serving others. And all people are encouraged to put aside natural mystical experiences and psychic insights so that "god" will love them and not destroy them. This, in my opinion, is not reasonable, for true reason dictates that the immense variety of experience, of insights, and of possibilities exists for a reason. To whittle oneself down to a sliver of what one naturally is and what one is naturally capable of is a great and tragic sadness.

Disobey. Disobey the automatic response to agree, for instance, to work overtime even though you have made plans to walk on the beach with your children. Disobey the social imperative that tells you that questioning a teacher is wrong. Disobey when your laws demand that your lives become the property of supposedly greater social concerns. Disobey the voice within that drives you to distract yourself with make-work chores when what you really want to do is sit quietly and listen to the wind in the trees. Disobey "god." Stop believing that powers outside of you somehow "know best." Ignore the "scientific" proclamation that your capacity for learning slows down as you get older. Personal disobedience is the real power behind civil disobedience. Without it you still create new regimes of despair.

Samantha: Thanks. Not comfy stuff, Ibiru. Tomorrow, if I am still feeling better?

Ibiru:

No, it is not comfortable, Samantha. But it is real. And the real always leads you home. Tomorrow, then.
