The Chalet, near Mayens de Riddes
The beautiful, pristine lake atop Le Brevent (2525m). I wanted so badly to walk down to the lake, but it was too late & I didn't want to miss the last gondola down.
My attempt to get as close as possible to the lake. The trail was steep, rocky & unsteady, but absolutely breathtaking!
