PRAGUE

Posing with the famous Charles Bridge in the background.
One room of the library in the Strahov monastery.
St. Nicholas church in the Old Town Square.
One of the many statues on the Charles Bridge.
A view of the city from the top of the stairs to the castle.
A guard outside the castle. He stood stock-still while the tourists posed for pictures next to him. This poor child was made to stand next to the guard by his mom, though he looked terrified. I found this cute, though I think the boy would disagree.
The Golden Lane, in the castle. The blue house was where Franz Kafka once lived.
An off-shoot of the river.
A torture chair. Eeee.
My cousin Benny with Tatsuya from Japan. We had a blast, wandering, nay, stumbling through the twisty, ornate streets of Prague, discussing cultural quirks and Esperanto.
Michal, the self-titled "Bohemian mountain man." He didn't want me to put his picture on my website, so since (as he pointed out) I am not a "scoundrel," he must remain the "mysterious mountain man." Ladies, you're just going to have to trust me (or e-mail me), he's a doll.
The Old Jewish Cemetery. They say the graves go at least 12 deep. 12 graves deep, not feet.
The impossibly intricate interior of the Spanish Synagogue.
