Closeness

There are miles that separate us
And there's time between our visits
But these forces can't prevent us
From remaining close in our hearts

For the times we've shared together
For the fun and trouble we've seen
Through sunshine and stormy weather
We've stood by each other always

That is why we know that nothing
Built by man or caused by nature
Will keep us from always being
Close in friendship and dear in love
