Our Garden
If we speak kindly to flowers
They will answer with sweet fragrance
And they'll show their brightest colors
To return the love we give them
As we tend our garden dearly
We look forward to the blossoms
Which will be beautiful, surely
And return the love we give them
When we're in this garden, I know
We will enjoy the surroundings
The roses, we might see them glow
In return of love we give them
Through our garden we will wander
And we'll share some special moments
With intoxicating splendor
They'll return the love we give them
This poem has been published, but I've since
edited it to make it more consistent.
