To Both Of Us

We have not known each other long,
But I feel very close to you.
And it seems, and I truly hope,
You feel this way about me, too.

I want to take the time to say
"Welcome to my world, my new friend."
And it is my sincerest hope
That our friendship will never end.

Now, I will do all that I can
To be the best friend I can be.
And it will make me happy, friend,
