In October, 1998 I drove the 2 1/2 hours from Indianapolis, Indiana to Dayton, Ohio, to attend a booksigning by my favorite author, Robert Jordan, author of the Wheel of Time series. Below are pictures of him and I, his autographs, and a letter that I received in March 2000 (almost 2 years after I sent it: sent June 1998, but I understand he's a busy man) in response to an inquiry of where he stood on fan fiction being published on the internet. I have a site of Wheel of Time things, mostly based on a roleplay MUD called The Weave.
