Malta Blob 2 - Political Satire from Malta
You can listen to
"Malta Blob", the best satirical snippets of Maltese radio, in Maltese.
You will need a sense of humour for most samples. And you will
also require the REALAUDIO Player (v 2 minimum) for the first sample.
Some older samples used the TOOLVOX plugin from
http://www.voxware.com - unfortunately
it is no longer available.
Lately I've found the TRUESPEECH plugin
to be a good compressor too, and the .tsp files are playable with the
Windows 95 media player or cooledit.
Most of these blobs centre on call-in programmes on which you can hear
the usual people phoning and saying lots of things from serious things to
the silliest stuff. Then I do like RAI's blob - I take various bits and
pieces of recorded stuff from radio (Sometimes even months or a couple of
years old and I combine it, sometimes I get someone to say something
twice using cooledit or using the tape recorder).
