Well, before I let you go to the pics lemme' tell ya's 'bout my dilemma...

Ditch #1:
In Carbondale, they were supposed to play at the Copper Dragon on the 21st of October. A few weeks prior to the show they cancelled!

Ditch #2:
I drive 3 hours north and spend the weekend in Champaign to see RCR on the 25th (a Sunday) seeing as I missed them the first time. I walk up to the door with my buddies and I'm told that they cancelled the night before. I stay to discover "technical difficulties" kept them back in Ohio.

I did find dirt on the whole fandango...

Ditch #1

I talk to Jimmie (the manager of Copper) and he regrets to inform me that they are in the studios recording something. How?! The Contender album just came out...

Well, they had to record a certain commercial (I'm sure you've seen it) for the WB channel. It's a nice little commercial, I guess. But I now harbor resentment against their label, Warner Brothers. When the airline overbooks flights, someone ain't gonna' make it for Thanksgiving, y'know what I'm sayin'?

Ditch #2

Very basically, the fella's were in Toledo and they got into a fight while standing up for themselves.

That incident that he describes runs right into the Sunday night performance at The Canopy Club.

Not their fault, really. I just hope that I get another chance to see them.
