We are but one people
We are all equal.

I admit that I was lazy in first beginning this part of my site even though I really know how very important it can take a toll on someone's life. I had gotten the idea a long time ago with personal experiences with discrimination. I didn't start putting this up until I saw that a friend of mine had been trying to put together an act against it on the Internet. I, of course, joined in. I hope that we can spread this campain over the Web and I am asking everyone who's reading this to join and/or help us in our hopefully soon-to-be Web-wide campain against Web discrimination. Even though we both realize that there are a lot of problems in everyday life with discrimination, we feel that we can start out on the Web before moving on to bigger and better things. Even if we don't get far, at least we tried.
I am here to help educate people with the problems we face in everyday life. You can choose not to read them or even to read on. I cannot force anyone to listen, but I am setting this out onto the Web hoping that someone will see my cry for help in this "virtual" world to help out our own world.

Unlike most discrimination sites this one is not only dedicated to the one most people are familair with, sexism. This site is dedicated to those who are decriminated against no matter what. This means those people of a different color of skin, of different religion, of a different culture, as well as those of a different gender.
I personally believe that the only way to stop certain things is to stop ignorance about it. It is for that reason that I hope you will all help me in spreading the word across the new learning area of today's world, the Internet. We can all make a difference if we try. And I believe we should try.

Okay, so what exactly do you mean by descrimination?

In the Webster's Dictionary it says that to discriminate is "to make a difference in treatment or favor other than individual merit". It also says "to make a distinction". In plain English, it means that you judge someone before you actually know about their personality due to what they look like, what they believe in, or by what other people say other than what you know.
To stop discrimination you, as a person, need to stop and think about what you're saying about someone else. Do you say it because you know it or because they are different? Why strike out against someone else if you don't even know who they are or if they have even done anything wrong? It is this that we need to put an end to.

Yeah, and like it matters what I do!!

Actually it does! If each person learns from example and each person starts to put an end to discrimination, then soon enough there won't be as much or maybe there won't be any at all.
In the past we have heard about (or seen) people fighting against discrimination. They have spoken out against it and helped enough to get some things done. Unfortunately, not all of the discrimination is lost just yet, so we all need everyone's help. Even if we have to do it one person at a time.

Cool... so what do I do?

Well we can start off really simple. Like I mentioned earlier, we are just starting on the Web. However, it would be great if you carried this on to real life situations as well. If you have a webpage or know someone who does just tell them to copy the picture to the right, link it here (http://geocities.datacellar.net/SoHo/Lofts/4655/one.html), and have this text next to it: "We are One! I am in a campain to help stop discrimination on the Web, and you can, too. Speak out for the rights of people and realize that we are but a one people!" You may also make your own section on discrimination although it is not required.

We can all do something about any problem. The question is... will you help?

For more information or to inform me of you signing up (I would appreciate it!) e-mail me with your question or saying you would like to help by being a part of this campain. Thanks for listening!

One the people who decided to help me. His page is in Swedish though (other than the link to here) so you may not be able to read it. Thank you so much for helping me.
