I'm a typical Taurus. Stubborn and practical. I love material possessions (but only those that are simple, lovely, and not ostentatious). I am very sensory-oriented and passionate. I value home, family, friends, and memories. Emotional and financial security are vital to me.

I was hired as a file clerk back in 1979 but have worked my way up to Resource Manager (or Glorified File Clerk). I'm reliable, punctual, hard-working, and I don't put up much of a fight if I'm denied a reasonable raise, promotion, or given too much work to do. I'm always here and rarely sick. I get along well with my co-workers.

I'm a loving mom who tells lame jokes, is overprotective, sarcastic, sometimes unreasonable, never thinks a controlled mess is the same as a clean house, pretty good taste in music but some of it is weird, a magic money tree, a chauffer, a cook, a laundry worker, a doctor/nurse, a psychiatrist, a teacher, a good game player, a storyteller, sometimes helpful with homework unless it's math, and a silly goofy odd and lovable person.

If you ask my cats:
I'm a warm lap and a gentle hand, a feeder, a swatter, a person holding the intriguing piece of string, the litterbox cleaner, and the sleepy lump on the bed who should be jumping out of bed and feeding us at 4:30am.

If you ask my sisters:
I'm the normal, practical, sickningly good one of the three. I'm strong, reliable, and intelligent. When we were kids, I was considered the magic money tree, the fun game player, the storyteller, and someone to fight with.

If you ask my friends:
I'm compassionate, funny, intelligent, creative, reliable, and lovable. Sometimes I'm bizarre, freaky, and off-the-wall. I don't take enough risks or else I take too many. Sometimes I can be a worrywort, impatient, insensitive, sarcastic, cold, clingy, or crabby. I'm a good conversationalist and listener, and a confidante.

I'm adorable and their favorite. Ok, actually "they love us all equally". I'm intelligent, strong, kind, responsible, and loving. I'm fun, silly, and a good storyteller. I'm an excellent mom and daughter. I have a lot to learn.

Well, I'm all of the above. Plus, I'm a caretaker and a peacemaker. I'm stubborn when it comes to my most fundamental beliefs and values. I love a good political discussion, not one where I'm told I'm wrong, silly, or uninformed. I'm agnostic and a humanist, and still searching for spiritual fulfillment. I am inspired by nature and the universe. I'm interested in psychology, anthropology, archeology, astronomy, astrology, numerology, and etymology. I love my children more than life itself and want them to succeed happily in life. I'm an environmentalist, pro-choice, a feminist, a dreamer, a reader, a writer, and word puzzle enthusiast. I love to watch comedies, make funny faces in the bathroom mirror, eat good food often, listen to music, and talk with my friends on the internet. I hate housework, paying bills, and killing bugs.
