I've been hung up on the Romantics and Victorians for a while, but recently I have delved into some newer writings like the absurdity of the Hitchhiker's series by Douglas Adams, or the freakishness of Stephen King's The Shining. Some assorted other things I have read or would like to read are (in no particular order):

Select tales of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.
Out of this Furnace, Thomas Bell.
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Robert Louis Stevenson.

I also enjoy reading dictionaries, encyclopedias, and album liner notes.
