Never Do ANYTHING with a Local We would lay in WAIT for the summer, just biding our time for the
new blood to filter into our town. ((HINT ~ if you are a MAN and want to GET SOME, try spending a summer in a small town)) If you happen to go to SEWARD, there are a few I should warn you about though, so write me!! *grinning wickedly* ~i'd tell you
their names, but My Mum might catch some flack, so ask me.. and
I will gladly tell you all the gory.. WHORABLE details (I will tell you though, one of the names to
avoid.. is ... well i just can't tell you, because i'm not a vindictive bitch... ok..
maybe i am.. but if i told you her name then i would have to stoop to her level, so..
lets just say i know of a few girls there you should avoid.
!!) The main MALE attractions in Seward were The Army Recreational camp *which i will gladly talk about later* :), the summer fishermen and/or cannery workers (dont' laugh, we had LOTS of
college guys coming up here to make money at the canneries....*GRIN**, we also had the summer tourists and their handsome grandsons, and the guys that would come to
work for the tourist companies....
Wait... in all honesty there were a lot of wonderful guys in Seward. Handsome, smart, funny.. all the wonderful things one could possibly want. And i had my fair share of crushes *hehe.. i'll talk about THOSE later too.. you never know.. they might stumble apon this page and say.. OH MY GOD.. ROSE liked me??? I Should GO KILL MYSELF NOW!* But for the most part I viewed the local boys as "untouchable". Not just because of who they were, but mostly because of who I was *back then*. I'll get into THAT later too.. *i need to keep a list of these things, or I will forget*
GOSSIP in SMALL TOWNS
Back to the BEGINNING Or Back to "secrets of a smalltown girl"
First of all, if you DID a local in a matter of.. Oh.. Minutes *for some of them.. yes.. just minutes.. hahaha* the whole town would know
who, when, where, why, how drunk.. all of the details. It seemed
that if one were to do.. "something" with someone from out of
town that it took a lot longer, or, no ONE found out at all. *I
wonder... maybe THEY did KNOW, but Never told me!!*
In any case, we, being all the girls that I knew, would anxiously count the days till summer would hit the small town of Seward.
Gossip can be fun, but it can also be maliciious, evil, and can
hurt people. Remember that, it may just save your life! *or your sanity*
Although it can feel good to be the keeper and teller of secrets it is a dangerous game
to play because you never know if what you say will get back to the wrong people and
what THEY might do. Keep it to yourself.
