Incident Erupts over Downed Spy Aircraft

Storm and Inferno officials are fighting a war of words following the downing of a Storm aircraft near Inferno territory. Team Inferno is demanding an apology for the incursion, with Storm refusing to apologize and insisting on the return of its missing teammates.

The incident was caused when a Storm Havoc transport with a full complement of six crew was conducting a visual surveillance flight near the Inferno base, while being shadowed by two Inferno Shrike scouts. One of the Shrikes flew too close and clipped the Havoc, causing both aircraft to crash.

Following the crash, team Inferno captured the Storm crew and detained them within a green forcefield in the Inferno base. The pilot of the missing Shrike has not been located, and is believed to be stuck in observer mode.

Leaders for both teams, meeting in an attempt to resolve the crisis, quickly degenerated to trading insults. "All your spycrew are belong to us!" shouted Inferno. To which Storm replied, "Q0wnage is as q0wnage does!"

The fuss confused many of the players on the server. "Dude, I don't know what the big deal is," said one. "If they can't get out of the enemy base, they should just Ctrl+K. I mean, it's capture-the-flag, not bore-us-to-death-flame-war."
