In a new infomercial, perennial pitch master Ron Popeil and former Tribes 2 producer Dave "Qix" Georgeson team up to hawk the Ronco Exception Handle, which makes it easy to deal with those "unhandled exceptions" you get while playing Tribes 2. "Yes, Qix, it's true, now you can put a handle on those exceptions and carry them anywhere. You can use them wherever and whenever you need them," says Popeil. "That's amazing, Ron! But why would I want to do that?" asks Georgeson. "Oh, there could be any number of reasons. Say you forgot your anniversary or her birthday. Or maybe the government is auditing your tax return. Simply use the handle like this and pull out an exception," says Popeil, demonstrating his prowess with the handle device. "Then use the exception to take care of the situation." "That's fantastic! But that handle looks expensive, Ron. Do I have to pay a lot for it?" Georgeson asks. "No, not at all, Qix. But wait, there's more! If you buy a Ronco Exception Handle right now, I'll throw in this handy Missing Client File Finder," continues Popeil. "Missing Client File Finder? Sounds complicated. What's it do, Ron?" asks Georgeson with another set-up line. "It's really cool, Qix. You know how sometimes when the map is changing, you get an error message about some missing file or another, and then you get booted off the server? Well with the Missing Client File Finder, you'll never have that embarrassing disconnect again. Merely clap your hands," says Popeil, making two quick claps, "and the missing files beep until you find where they are." "You mean I'll never lose another client file in the couch or in my coat again?" gasps Georgeson. "No, Qix, you won't," says Popeil. "Call our toll-free hotline right now and get both the Ronco Exception Handle and the Missing Client File Finder for one low price. Operators are standing by!"
