Here are some shots of a breaker in Hazleton PA. The Archer book, History of the Lehigh Valley Railroad, shows a picture of it on page 280 and names it as the Lion Coal Company. It is owned by Pagnotti Enterprises and from my sources, is not used. Trespassing in the area is verboten as the CONRAIL yard borders on the rugged landscape owned by the coal company. I found a hill overlooking the area, and used a telephoto lens to get the shots. My old scanner could not handle the tonal quality of the photos and translate them to monochrome. The light meter might have been fooled a little as the breaker came out dark and the well-lit sandy colored rocks came out good.
