Here are the guidelines for a VELVETEEN exchange. The final date to mail everything to me is July 26.Your velveteen goodies should be back to you by September in plenty of time to be incorporated into holiday items.
This swap is for velveteen only - no corduroy, no velvet, velour, plush etc. - just velveteen :) Any colour or colours, or patterns in velveteen are fine for this swap.
Guidelines are below.
1. Prepare 10 - 15 packages with one piece of velveteen 12 inches square in it. If you don't have a piece large enough you can send 2 or more pieces in a package but altogether it must add up to a 12 inch square of velveteen. Plain or patterned velveteen is fine. Different colours in packets is fine. Mixing plain and patterned is fine. But please - no velvet, corduroy etc. - just velveteen.
2. If you want folks to know who sent them what, include your name in each packet.
3. Put all the packets (10 - 15 in total) into an envelope along with enough postage to get the same weight back. No need for a return envelope - I will reuse yours. (Make sure it is a sturdy one!!) If you live outside of Canada, send me the money as a Canadian money order or send $5.00 in U.S. funds. I will return to you any extra :)
4. Parcel must be sent by July 26. I will send out parcels once I have received packets who said they wanted to do the velveteen exchange.
