LEFTOVERS OF THE YEAR SWAP
This swap is to help us clean out our closets (ha, ha!) Well, at least it gives us a chance to swap! Please let me know if you are interested! Libby --I have been planning on doing this for about 3 months now! I can do it because I am actually going to get to live here all winter!!!! ;-)))
DEADLINE;
Jan. 31, 1998 is the deadline for having your swap package in my hand. I will send out reminders in December, and in January !
CONTENTS for each baggy:
MATERIAL: Fabric to equal 12" x 12" square of ANY material that can be used for CQ. Any combination that adds up to a 12" x 12" square (eg. two 6" x 12" pieces) Please- no pieces less than 6"square
ALONG WITH THE MATERIAL, PICK 3 OF THE FOLLOWING:
THREAD: Either one yard of 5 different kinds, OR 2 whole spools/packages
RIBBON: Narrow ( up to one half inch wide)- 1 yard each of 2 different Other (from one half inch on up)- one half yard each of 2 different
BEADS: 2 dozen of seed, OR 2 large (over one half inch) or unique, OR 1 dozen of anything else (bugles, etc.)
BUTTONS: 1 - 6 of any kind. 1 if a HUGE one, 6 if small.. use your judgement
CHARMS: 1-4 depending on size more if small, less if large
MOTIFS: 2 of any kind, size or shape, crochet items welcome!
LACE: 10 inches of 2 different
TRIMS: EVERYTHING ELSE! ;-) tassels, braid, fringe, cording All sizes, any amount that is about equal to the other choices listed above.
YOU CAN SEND 2 OF ANYTHING EXCEPT THE TRIMS CATEGORY. YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO SEND ONE TRIM IN EACH BAGGY.
YOU CAN SEND UP TO 15 BAGGIES. EACH BAGGY MUST HAVE ONE MATERIAL, AND THREE CHOICES IN IT.
MAILING:
Each packet should have your name, email, snail mail address, and the hostess's name and address CLEARLY VISIBLE AFTER THE BAGGIE IS CLOSED.
ENVELOPE MAILING
OPTION ONE: Get two envelopes, and address one to me. Put your address on the second envelope, and put it (OPEN-NOT SEALED) and your packets in the first envelope. Have it weighed at the Post Office, and make sure you get the same amount of postage put on the second (inside)envelope.
OPTION TWO: Get two of the Priority Mail Packages the Post Office has for free, and have $3.00 postage put on each one. Address one to me. Put your address on the second envelope, and put it (OPEN-NOT SEALED) and your packets in the first envelope. You should have an envelope with the correct postage on it addressed to me, and within it should be your packets and a second envelope addressed to YOU with the same amount of postage on it .
MAKE SURE PACKAGES REACH ME BEFORE JAN 31
