Crazy Quilt Celestial Swap

Celestial Swap Guidelines
This my first try as hostess!
Please read the following guidelines thoroughly.
If you have any questions at all, please ask!
GUIDELINES:
Each envelope MUST reach me by April 30. I suggest you make a note and mail them out on the 23rd. That will give the post office plenty of time to get them here. Some times it takes 7 days for a priority envelope to get here. If you are out of state, PLEASE mail ASAP!
You may send up to 15 baggies. Each baggie must have a slip of paper that has your name, address, and email address. I also recommend you put my address on the outside of each baggie (just in case your package gets opened).
Please make sure that you use a big enough envelope for your returns!!!!!! In the event that your envelope is not big enough, I will email you to find out what you wish me to do.
POSTAGE: I suggest using the Priority Mail packages at the post office. I recommend the flexible paper ones, NOT the cardboard ones. The paper ones hold more and are easier to stuff! Make sure you put the return postage on the envelope you address to yourself inside. I will not pay to mail any package back. If you forget it, you'll have to mail me a stamp.
FOR SWAPPERS OUTSIDE U.S. & CANADA: Please contact me separately. (We'll work something out.)
BAGGY CONTENTS: We are making this a co-ordinated swap, so all of the thread, and embellishments must go with the material you send! Each baggie should have 12 inches square of fabric, 4 yards of thread, and 1 trim. (See below for details.)
1. Material: Equal to one 12 inch square. This can be two 6 by 12 inch pieces, or four 6 inch pieces, or one 12 inch piece. Cotton is OK. Make sure it is something that you could use in CQ.
2. Threads: 2 pieces of thread, both to be 2 yards long, and to coordinate the material you send. Both pieces are to be a different type. DMC is OK, but it can only be one of your choices. The other will have to be something else, like metallic, chenille, etc.
3. Trims: Pick ONE of these:
a. 24 seed beads (this could be multiple colors, as long as it coordinates).
b. Motifs: Machine embroidery, silk ribbon embroidery, or material with a transfer on it, etc. Please be sure that it has a backing on it, or whatever it is you do, so the recipient only has to add it to her block.
c. Laces: If you send lace that is smaller than ½ inch, please make it be at least 7 inches long. Bigger lace, then 4 inches is fair.
d. Buttons: Plastic as long as it's applicable to the celestial theme is fine. The size of a regular shirt button, then 6 is fair. A button that is 1 inch wide, you would only have to send one.
e. Charms: 2 or so would be good.
f. Ribbon: A silk ribbon 4mm or 7mm, then 1 to 2 yards is fair. A wide ribbon, half a yard is about right.
REMINDER FOR INTERNATIONAL SWAPPERS: It is important to mark on your parcels (capitals for emphasis only) "USED FABRIC- UNDER $15" IS IMPORTANT. The value of $15 was not an arbitrary figure chosen. With the exchange rate so high(1.4049) anything over $15 will translate to a figure close to or over $40 Canadian and will require attention from Customs. This will result in duty tax and a handling fee being charged. In my opinion this would then make international swaps cost prohibitive and take all the fun and joy from them.
