Crazy Quilt Seasonal Swap - Summer

Swap Hostess: Tree Storesund

trestor@pionet.net

These are the guidelines for the Seasonal swap I'm hosting.
I plan to have 4 in all due at the equinox & solstice dates.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SUMMER
Due on the summer solstice (June 21st.)
put together something from each grouping:
Group 1. - Fabric: a 12 " square - (or the equivalent) of fabric made from
NATURAL FIBER. That is: cotton, wool, silk , linen, & rayon.
Group 2 - threads: 2 two yard lengths of something that can be stitched with
or stitched down. Again, look for natural fibers, pearl cotton & silk ribbon
are fine, but don't overlook crochet threads, cotton yarns, strange string etc.
Group 3- hard things: buttons, beads, charms, fetishes, bones, sticks,.....well, you get the idea. 1 if its big or very special. 2 if it is
medium sized. lots of them if they are tiny. Nothing plastic.
ALSO -- please include a sheet of paper with some kind of idea or suggestion for a summery theme stitch thingy of some sort. Don't worry about how nobody can draw very well - just get something down on paper & the rest of us will just sort it out.
Put all your stuff in baggies (up to 15) and put your name in it where I can
see it so I don't send your stuff back to you. Put them all in a big
envelope addressed to me. Put in another big envelope addressed to yourself
(with my return address) and enough postage for it to find its way back to
you. Seal it up really well, and send it on its merry way to my address below.
If you are sending from another country either send enough $$ for the
return postage, or buy those International Reply Coupons at the Post Office
and send those.
Any Questions?? lets keep this simple & fun!
