Block Made by Naomi Lacy
When I did my block I used a lot of things representative of what I get out of the crazy quilt list. First, the fabrics represent fabrics I got as a result of the list. Many of them came from the jewel tone fabric exchange. The gift box fabric, tho, came from the first set of neckties I bought at a thrift shop. I had never gone to a thrift shop before and had never thought about ties as a source of silk until I started participating in the list. The embellishments also represent things I learned from the list; in particular, some of the stiches are from the stich exchange.
