Block Made by Carolyn McCray

My quilt block includes fabrics and embellishments from Prodigy swaps. I look everywhere for ideas and found the butterfly and flowers in a DMC and in the latest Quilters' Newsletter Magazine. The threads are variegated Caron Wildflowers, rayon chenille, perle cotton, and silk buttonhole twist.

I first discovered crazy quilts when I saw a listing of "cq 13" on Prodigy's quilting bulletin board. I found a wonderful group of dedicated cq'ers and participated in many fabric and embellishment swaps over the past year and a half. And then, one of the Prodigy cq'ers asked me if I knew about the new CrazyQuilt list on the internet. Without any hesitation, I joined and downloaded all the past digests from the archives - I didn't want to miss a thing.

The CrazyQuilt list is a marvelous group of people from beginners to professional artists. If there's a question, there's always a multitude of answers that all of us can use. I enjoy the camaraderie found on this list, the willingness to share knowledge, and the inspiration gained from all the postings. Thank you Mike and Beth for starting this wonderful list!
