Block Made by Jan Thompson
My name is Jan Thompson and I live in Clovis, CA which is in the central San Joaquin Valley. I work at one of the ten Internal Revenue Service Centers in the nation which processes tax returns. Yes, nasty job but someone has to do it. I am a computer programmer/graphic artist. Needless to say Crazy quilting is my escap. I love just letting my hands do the work. Sometimes I am amazed at what they do.
I come from a long line of crafters. My grandmother and mother both sew their own clothes and quilted and knitted and so on and so on. I was fortunate enough to get all the leftover fancy fabrics and trims and that is what started me doing crazy quilting.
Having a place to share what I do and see what others to is so exciting. What a wonderful time we live in. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share my work and see others work.
