Love in sleep
I do not
sleep
understand
Where is Mother?
Gone, across the land.
Far.
Far away.
Over the horizon
far 'way to a
new
land.
This land I've never visited.
Now will I anytime soon.
I know not what it looks like.
Some say it is a beautiful place,
warm and frightening,
lakes and caves.
Some tell me it is cold
windy musical
clouds and light.
Some say dark
a river,
boatman --
I know not.
But I will.
'Til the future
many years.
Where is Father?
Gone, across the land.
Far.
Far away.
Over the horizon
far 'way to a
new
land.
To a land of mountains,
valleys, peaks.
Gone to explore
he has those
rivers and muscles
and elegant beauty
To a place
I will never know
nor love.
To a place
I hate with rage!
with blood rage!
and fire!
Where is Brother?
Gone, across the land.
Far.
Far away.
Over the horizon
far 'way to a
new
land.
To a golden land,
tipped with white
Falling down
the circle
the fate
crying
away
To a hell
contained in glass
Where is Sister?
Gone, across the land.
Far.
Far away.
Over the horizon
far 'way to a
new
land.
To a land of black and gold and red
to a land of blue and brown and green
to the land where angels fled.
Her sanity enveloped
Her consciousness alive.
A land of joy.
Damn her.
Where am I?
Gone, across...
No.
I do not know.
Maybe...
Maybe I never left...
but the scenery went without me.
I'm left here. Blank.
Alone.
Isolated.
Crying.
Have you ever
opened your eye?
Just in time to
see
a tear
falling to your leg?
A lonely drop.
like me.
Alone.
Falling.
Alone.
So Alone.
Cry.
