Loss
a shallow disparity
following lines of agony
seeing such a rarity
die with your partner
imagine the life
the greatest loving man
and the perfect wife
crumbling with illness
he looks into her eyes
"it will be okay"
he tearfully lies
as she slips away
she looks up at darkness
her mind and vision far away
he looks one less
losing this part
as blue comes
her lips unnaturally tint
his heart runs
blood staining his eyes
tears crash lower
he sees her now
as none will know her
and the warmth is gone
but the warmth is here
he feels it still
despite his fear
and he feels her love
she moves past him
she leaves that place
she moves to the rim
and they still touch
he knows it's not over
though he misses her
she knows it's not over
and she still sees him
