Well, first off... my real name is Jeremy James Hicks. I was born on May 20th, 1983 in Northeastern Pennsylvania. My family moved around a bit, and settled in Asheville, North Carolina for a little while, before moving back to Northeastern Pennsylvania about a month before the beginning of my Kindergarten year.
My other name, Sarkin J. Lenticulare, is what I'm known online as. It's my alias, in other words. Sarkin is just a name, it has no real meaning. Lenticulare, on the other hand, is a bastardized version of the word "lenticular", meaning dealing with or having to do with lenses, especially in the eye. I think this name is pretty appropriate. Or so I hope. You may disagree, however.
Physical info, as of this writing...
Height : 5'9". Or somewhere around there.
Weight : 145 lbs. Yeah, I know I'm fat, shut up. Heh, heh.
Hair : Light Brown. (Naturally, at least. I dye it a lot.)
Eyes : Blue.
Sex : Male, duh.
Things I enjoy in include street hockey, basketball, theatre, art, photography... as well as other stuff.
I'm a huge New Jersey Devils fan, and have been since 1994. In 1995, about 8 months after I started following them, the Devils won the cup. That was a pretty amazing experience, but at that point I wasn't enough of a Devils fan to really enjoy it. However, they also won the cup in 2000, by which point I had become a huge fan and follower. Seeing them win Game 6 in Dallas was probably one of the greatest things I've ever seen on television, if not the greatest. It seemed like the 5 years of stress and disappointment leading up to that had finally all been worth it. After seeing them get knocked out in round one and round two of the playoffs over and over again, after constantly ending the season with the best record in the league, it finally all came together in that one moment, and everything just seemed perfect.
As far as other sports, I don't really have favorite teams. I have teams I like and teams I hate, but no teams that I'd wear the clothing of or anything like that, like I do with the Devils.

But now that's all done with. I've finally graduated from high school. (Class of 2001), and June 6th, 2001 (the day of graduation) was a very happy occasion for me. I finally finished with that school, never to have to deal with the bureacratic bullshit of it ever again. Now I'm here at the University of Pittsburgh... freshman year... oooh, so exciting! Heh, heh. But I really love it here. I'd recommend this school to anyone who asked, it's such a great campus. Pittsburgh is so spread out, and especially since the way the hills are you can't see the downtown buildings from here, so it's almost like being on a small town campus, but then you get on a city bus (Free to ride with your Pitt ID! Wahoo!) and go Downtown and see just how big of a city it really is. There's everything you could possibly want. We've got the six Carnegie Museums, Hillman Library, the CMU library... so many resources and great things. If you like architecture (as I do), trust me, there is some incredible architecture around here. I'm actually taking Intro to Architecture right now, and it's amazing how much you can see just around campus. The Cathedral of Learning and Heinz Chapel, both neo-gothic, are such incredible structures it's amazing. And speaking of the Cathedral of Learning, if you want to study, the best place in the world to study is in the Cathedral. Especially if you are like me, just take the elevator up to the 35th floor (The Honors College floor), grab some free coffee from the bottomless pot of coffee, sit on one of the couches, and read an entire book on substance abuse counseling in one sitting. (Yes, I did that, and it was for leisure, not for class... weird, eh?). Also, we've got some great parties, incredible concerts... everything you could ask for.
Wo. I didn't mean this page to be a University of Pittsburgh propaganda page... but I really do love it here, I just couldn't help going on at length about it. Trust me, I could make a whole webpage just about that, but I won't bore you with all of that. If you really want to ask me about the University (even though I'm probably not the best person to ask, there are so many other people that know a lot more about the University...) you may feel free to e-mail me.
Oh yes, you want some PICTURES, don't you? Well, fine. Go here to see them.
And, if all those pictures aren't enough and you just need to have some more pictures of me, you can check out my webcam page. I can't guarantee it will be on, but if you keep checking back, you are bound to catch me on it at some point during the day. Maybe I'll be sleeping, but still. Just click here to view it.
Well, that's about all I can think to say right now. I may add more in the future, as I think of it, but for now... nah. If you have suggestions, comments, blah blah, e-mail me.
