Shred

scandinavian children
run softly through the night
poisonous mushrooms
twirl
on the head of a pin
two years of destructive angst
ball up the pain inside
manifested physically as a cancer
of pain
and waste
we destroy ourselves
for entertainment
we watch celebrities
smoke and drink
destroy our bodies
power lines and microwaves
destroy our minds
welcome to the human race?
