my name is Joy. i'm a 19 year old gay female. i talk to animals, but they don't talk back. i never used to cry at movies, then i grew up - now i cry whenever a dog is wounded or a mother loses her daughter, or a family gets separated. i listen to top 40 music, and i'm proud of it. i will listen to pretty much anything, including all the damn britney spears songs that come on the radio, and then when i get sick of the crap they play, i turn on a tape or a cd. i have no cd player in my car, but i have tapes in my car. wanna see a crappily thrown together list of tapes that i have in my car right now? it was rhetorical - all those people answering out loud, you need a wack with the dumbass stick.
okay, so if you left, welcome back - what else is there about me? i go to bristol community college for computer information systems. (with internet/multimedia option) i'm also working two jobs; the newport daily news and performance research. i am already shopping for christmas (it's only sept. 7). i am a good friend, but so far in relationships, i haven't had a good track record in the sensitivity and caring arena. looking back, i think that's because i never really deeply cared for anyone i dated. now, i do care for someone and she's virtually unattainable, and i don't thinks she wants to be attained. so, there ya go.
i'm not fond of candy corns or roast beef.
i can write a mean essay or paper, but when it comes to mathematical equasions, don't bother. x = what? i don't know. i have, a couple times in my life, graded my own math paper with a big fat ZERO and handed it in. and in college it's even easier to do that. hand it in, and leave. so easy. i failed statistics once, now i'm trying again two semesters later. can't wait.
i read men's magazines. i subscribe to maxim (you find the damn web address) and if you haven't checked it out, you really should - male or female. this magazine is chock full of information, tips, bar tricks...i love it. and there's usually a section of disgusting medical diseases, with graphic pictures, which i love to show my mother. ("is that bloated thing with puss on it a penis? ewww") my mom's cool. she'll probably start asking for that section soon enough.
if you're into folk, you should check out the Newport Ben & Jerry's folk festival. they have a ... guess. webpage.
...and on the subject of music, ya gotta love ani difranco and sarah mclachlan, right? (although i'm the first to admit i'm sick of all of sarah's overplayed radio songs.)
