her talents in the fields of : vocalist, pianist, guitarist, and poet. Part of the reason for the successes in these fields
came from the fact that she studed classical guitar, piano and voice as a child. Sarah was discovered by Nettwerk
Recoards at her first performance as part of a New Wave band. Sarah currently resides
in Vancouver with her newfound husband Ashwin Sood. Congratulations on the marriage, Sarah and Ash!
Sarah McLachlan's new released album is "Surfacing," which is becoming her biggest success. Sarah's songs are
featured in movies such as : Boys on the Side and The Brothers McMullen.
"Touch" went gold in Canada. When recording "Fumbling.." Sarah rented a secluded house in the woods outside of Montreal. At first, the lack of distraction and calm frustrated her, but soon she settled into the beauty of silence and nature. She is quoted saying, "I love to listen to the river. It's the best music I've heard in years."
