Conduct Yourself with Maturity & Respect for the Other Players -
this means don't force yourself, your plots or death on anyone's
playing character without their consent. If you don't like what's
happening, say something ooc. Don't wait until things get so
intense they're blown out of proportion. Speak your mind ooc.
I wish to establish a simple code for disposable, or anything goes
characters. Bracket the handle between dots like this:
..handle..
It can make exciting
role play to not know what's going to happen. Maybe the character will
live, maybe it'll die. You just don't know. Bring in undeveloped
characters, and if they live and you want to keep them... you can add
a background. A certain amount of fodder adds to the atmosphere as well.
A word on POWERGAMING - There's no rule or cap on what your character
can do or be. But keep in mind, if you go overboard, people simply won't
play with you. They don't have to. No one does. The ignore feature is: /i handle
THERE'S A BUTTMUNCH IN THE ROOM! HOW DO I GET RID OF HIM/HER?
Hopefully, if someone is behaving badly ooc, you can say something ooc and
settle it. If the annoying behavior persists. Repeat posts, rampages,
whatever. EVERYONE HAS THE POWER TO BAN ANOTHER PLAYER. If three people
in the room type the post:
/b annoying person's handle
That person will be banned for ten minutes. So behave yourself, because the other people in the room can kick you out.
